About
WHAT
The communities around Rudolf Steiner Schools (Waldorf Education) are often very insular and sometimes operate similarly to a religious community. The institution asks not just students but entire families to adopt a certain lifestyles to conform to a set of principals that most people (at least in my experience don’t know a lot about the origins of.
WHY
As someone who has been thought this education system my self I am interested in better understanding my experience and other peoples. I am very interested in seeing how people who went through this system that is very different then the “mainstream” were able to enter into “normal society” after their time in Waldorf school was over. Some rebel and become investment bankers. Some go to special colleges and become Waldorf teachers themselves, but in my experience, most of us fall somewhere in the middle.
